According to APK-Inform, the prices of sunflower seed have increased in the ports of the Danube since the start of January.
The prices are supported by smaller number of offers of the oilseed from farmers during the New Year holidays. They were also dealing with previously signed contracts. Competition between processors and exporters added support as well.
Over the reporting period, the bod prices of sunflower seed increased by 500-900 UAH/t and, as of January 10, totaled 16700-18400 UAH/t СРТ-port.
