XVIII international сonference "Fat-and-Oil Industry - 2019" started in Kyiv




On October 30, in the capital and economic center of Ukraine — the largest city of Kyiv — the XVIII international conference "Fat-and-Oil Industry - 2019" started working. APK-Inform Agency traditionally became the organizer of the event.

The following companies became the sponsors of the event: Farmet, VEKTOR Company Group, COTECNA, Myande Group, Euralis, CME Group and INTL FCStone. UKROLIYA became the Partner of the conference. At the same time, more than 350 participants from different countries, including Egypt, Turkey, India, the EU countries, as well as Ukraine, Belarus, Russia and the Baltic States, registered to participate in the event.

Within frames of the first session of the conference, participants will discuss the current condition of the oilseed complex of Ukraine and the Black Sea region. In particular, the agenda includes the following major topics: "Ukrainian oilseeds market: 20-year success story", "Changing stereotypes, or a new round in development of the fat-and-oil industry", "Large harvest — high prices? Prospects of the season-2019/20", and many others. At the end of the first session, the workshop SUN Talks takes place, which will allow to the most successful and outstanding professionals of fat-and-oil businesses of Ukraine to share their personal success case in the company and the industry as a whole.

The second session of the conference is expected to be even more interesting, because it will focus on the leaders of production and consumption of the fat-and-oil sector.

In addition, at the end of the conference representatives of the leading global companies such as INTL FCStone, ЕМЕА S&P Global Platts and CME Group, will hold the workshop "Black Sea Platts sunflower oil futures: what is it, and how they can be used for price risk management purposes".
