The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation increased the forecast of the harvest volumes of wheat in the country in the current year from the previously expected level of 75 mln tonnes, to 78 mln tonnes, declared the Minister of Agriculture, Dmitry Patrushev on September 25.
According to the Head of the Ministry of Agriculture, Russia will significantly increase the wheat production — to 78 mln tonnes.
At the same time, he added the Ministry still did not change the forecast of the general harvest of Russian grains in 2019, and kept it at the level of 118 mln tonnes.
