Ukraine: export prices for wheat flour increased

According to APK-Inform figures, in August and the first ten days of September 2017 the Ukrainian export market of wheat flour demonstrated a bullish trend, due to the similar market conditions on the market of raw materials and rather stable demand rates of importers.

Thus, many representatives of grain processing enterprises increased their selling prices for top-grade and 1-grade flour by nearly 5-10 USD/t, compared with the beginning of August, to 205-215 USD/t and 195-210 USD/t FCA, respectively. At the same time, some grain processing enterprises reported that they managed to sell small-scale batches of flour products at somewhat higher prices.

At the same time, high competition rates on the foreign market and among Ukrainian export-oriented companies slightly compensated the reporting bullish trend.

You can receive more detailed information about development of the price situation on the export market of grain by-products in Ukraine within frames of the III international conference "Grain Processors Forum - 2017. Production. Exports. Innovations", to be held on September 28-29, in Odessa, Ukraine.
