In Ukraine in 2012/13 MYthe market expects for a decrease of production volumes of wheat and rye flour. Thus, according to analysts of APK-Inform Agency next season Ukraine will produce 3.417 mln tonnes of wheat and rye flour, said Olga Pryadko, head of the grain markets department of the informational service of APK-Inform Agency, during the eleventh international conference "Grain Forum - 2012" on June 8.
The expert also noted that the decline of flour production volumes will occur due to a decrease in consumption to 3.3 mln tonnes against 3.375 mln tonnes in the current MY.
At the same time, taking into account the situation at the end of the season, we can forecast keeping of the export rates at the level of the current MY, said O.Pryadko, noting that the exports of flour in the next season is expected to reach 130 thsd tonnes (in 2011/12 MY - 125 thsd tonnes).
As a reminder, on June 6, 2012, the eleventh international conference "Grain Forum – 2012", organized by APK-Inform Agency, began its work in Yalta. The event was supported by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Grain Association.
The conference ended its work on June 8, 2012.
