Since the beginning of 2016/17 MY, the logistics company Ukrtranslogistika-2 significantly increased the volumes of shipped goods and reached the figures of 1.1 mln tonnes of agricultural cargoes, which transportation required nearly 17 thsd rail cars, reported the Director on regional development of the company, Sergei Kyrylenko.
Ukrtranslogistika-2 is rather young and dynamically developing company, which provides a full range of logistics services for delivery of various types of cargoes by railway, motor and other modes of transport. To date, the company is one of the largest operators on the railway service market of Ukraine, CIS and Baltic countries.
According to S.Kyrylenko, year on year the company continues actively developing, enlarging its rolling stock fleet and increasing the transported volumes of goods. Ukrtranslogistika-2 started working with 300 grain rail cars. To date, the figures increased to over 1000 rail cars. In 2013, the company transported 70 thsd tonnes of cargoes, and in 2014 - 600 thsd tonnes. Ukrtranslogistika-2 realizes transportation of agricultural goods in grain rail cars of the inventory rolling stock, and also has its own fleet of rail cars at more than 1000 units, which allows supplying of large-scale goods in the shortest time. In 2015/16 MY, the company shipped more than 1 mln tonnes of agricultural products. Ukrtranslogistika-2 plans to break a new record in the current season.
Only in March 2017, Ukrtranslogistika-2 shipped 190 thsd tonnes of agricultural cargoes, which transportation required 2970 rail cars.
