Ukraine may reach pre-war grain export in September

Ukraine may reach the pre-war volumes of grain export in September, the Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov said on September 30.

He noted that during the two months of operation of the "grain corridor" Ukraine had managed to export more than 5.5 mln tonnes of agricultural products, including almost 4 mln tonnes in September. During this period, 250 ships left for different countries, including 4 ships delivering grain to the poorest countrie as part of the work of the World Food Program (WFP) of the United Nations.

"I am sure as soon as this month (there will be pre-war volumes of grain exports - editor’s note). In September, almost 4 mln tonnes went through three ports of Odesa. There is also the Danube, the railway and trucks. I think that we will definitely have about 6 mln tonnes of agricultural export. These are the approximate numbers we had before the war", – the minister emphasized.
