Since the beginning of 2019/20 MY (July 1), and as of September 20, Ukraine already supplied 11.88 mln tonnes of grains and pulses on foreign markets, an increase of 4 mln tonnes compared with the figures in the same period of 2018/19 MY, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
In particular, the shipments of wheat totaled 7.27 mln tonnes (up 2.8 mln tonnes compared with the same date last season), barley — 2.66 mln tonnes (up 842 thsd tonnes), and rye — 1.9 thsd tonnes (down 34.8 thsd tonnes).
At the same time, the supplies of corn reached 1.91 mln tonnes, up 530 thsd tonnes compared with the same period in 2018/19 MY.
In addition, since the beginning of the current season Ukraine exported 67.8 thsd tonnes of flour (up 24.8 thsd tonnes).
