The organizers of the XIX international conference Grain&Maritime Days in Odessa, to be held on May 27-29, 2020, in Odessa, already formed the preliminary agenda of the event.
This time APK-Inform Agency and the International law offices Interlegal proposed a three-day format of the event, with the highly-charged main and optional agenda, including round tables, open interviews and trainings.
The first day of the conference will focus on the global trends in the macro- and micro-economics, dramatic changes in the global logistics and freight, as well as analysis of the global production and forecasts of grain trading. Also, on the reporting day the agenda includes AgriBusiness Talks with the leading players of Ukrainian agribusiness, and GrainBattle between importers and exporters on the major markets of Ukrainian grains.
The infrastructure and logistics of the grain market of Ukraine is the major topic of the second day. The first session covers the following topic: "Port boom in Ukraine: competitive advantages or "front running", which will consider ports as a link in the logistics chain, and the conference participants will receive answer to the question what "holds down" their capacities. Also, the second day has several panel discussions "Ports of loading vs. ports of discharge: international review", and "Maritime business. How do shipowners operate in Ukraine?". At the end of the second day, the conference participants will continue communicating in informal setting at the gala dinner.
On the third day of the event, the agenda will focus on the features and prospects of the market of alternate crops and container logistics in Ukraine. The conference participants will receive the most recent information on the prospects of transshipment of alternate crops, by-products, and organic products. At the end of the third day, the agenda includes the discussion in non-standard format between all participants of the conference.
