As of November 2, farmers of Ukraine harvested grains and pulses throughout 13.5 mln ha or 88% of the planned area. The production volumes reached 53.5 mln tonnes, with the average yield of 3.97 t/ha, declared the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine.
- corn was harvested throughout 3.6 mln ha or 66% of the planned area. The output reached 17.6 mln tonnes, with the yield of 4.9 t/ha;
- millet was harvested throughout 147.8 thsd ha or 98% of the planned area. The output reached 240.4 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 1.63 t/ha;
- buckwheat was harvested throughout 77.7 thsd ha or 98.9% of the planned area. The output reached 100.3 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 1.29 t/ha;
- sunflower seed was harvested throughout 6.06 mln ha or 95% of the planned area. The output reached 12.1 mln tonnes, with the yield of 2 t/ha;
- soybean was harvested throughout 1.2 mln ha or 88% of the planned area. The output reached 2.4 mln tonnes, with the yield of 2.04 t/ha.
As of November 2, farmers harvested 70.5 mln tonnes of main agricultural crops throughout 21.8 mln ha.
