As of November 5, farmers of Ukraine harvested grains and pulses throughout 13.6 mln ha or 89% of the planned area. The production volumes reached 54.4 mln tonnes, with the average yield of 3.99 t/ha, declared the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine.
- corn was harvested throughout 3.8 mln ha or 69% of the planned area. The output reached 18.6 mln tonnes, with the yield of 4.91 t/ha;
- millet was harvested throughout 148.06 thsd ha or 98% of the planned area. The output reached 240.7 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 1.63 t/ha;
- buckwheat was harvested throughout 77.8 thsd ha or 99% of the planned area. The output reached 100.6 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 1.29 t/ha;
- sunflower seed was harvested throughout 6.1 mln ha or 96% of the planned area. The output reached 12.2 mln tonnes, with the yield of 2 t/ha;
- soybean was harvested throughout 1.2 mln ha or 90% of the planned area. The output reached 2.5 mln tonnes, with the yield of 2.03 t/ha.
As of November 5, farmers harvested 71.6 mln tonnes of main agricultural crops throughout 22.08 mln ha.
