According to APK-Inform, Russia exported about 12 mln tonnes of wheat in July-September that almost matched the result of the same period of the preceding season (12.1 mln tonnes). Particularly, wheat export reached record monthly 5 mln tonnes in September.
Turkey (2.3 mln tonnes), Egypt (1.9 mln tonnes) and Bangladesh (1 mln tonnes) were the key importers of Russian wheat in the reporting period. Their common share totaled 43%.
Russia will export 39 mln tonnes in 2020/21 MY (+15% to 2019/20 MY). Thus, its export potential has already been fulfilled by 31%.
