On May 4, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine received the application for the constitutional muster of the Law of Ukraine "On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding the agricultural land turnover", which the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy singed on April 28, reported the press-service of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.
According to the announcement, the Constitutional Court received the constitutional application from 48 people's deputies of Ukraine regarding verification of the constitutionality of the Law of Ukraine #552-IX "On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding the agricultural land turnover" dd. March 31, 2020, and certain provisions of the Land Code of Ukraine.
The people's deputies, who appealed the law in the court, believe that it does not comply with a number of articles of the Constitution of Ukraine.
