From year to year, the requirements of importers of agricultural products become tougher. For example, the last adjustments to the Regulation of the EU regarding Chlorpyrifos determined the new limits of excess content of the contaminant in the batch of agricultural products. These requirements will come into force since November 2020 bringing the certain adjustments to the work of whole chain “production – unloading in a European port”. Thus, the harmonization of Ukrainian legislation with those of importing countries is essential.
“This year, the changes addressed one pesticide out of the huge list. Next year it may address any other. Participants of Ukrainian market need to be ready to new requirements mainly because many countries pay more and more attention to the safety of imported products”, - pointed out the advisor to the president of the Ukrainian Grain Association (UGA) on feed and food safety and quality manager with ADM Ukraine, Vadim Turyanchik.
Vadim Turyanchik will tell about the new requirements to quality and safety of grain and oilseed products, tasks faced by Ukrainian exporters as well as the necessity to harmonize the legislations at #GMD CONFERENCE 2020: SUMMER EDITION within the section GrainTrade: new season - new challenges.
