Despite the difficult economic situation in the world due to the coronavirus crisis, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, as one of the main economic partners of Ukraine, continues to allocate funds to support and develop Ukrainian business, including the agricultural industry.
Therefore, in April 2021, among other investments, the EBRD provided US$57 million loan to Kernel Group and lent 25 mln EUR to Credit Agricole Bank (Ukraine) to improve the competitiveness of Ukrainian micro, small and medium enterprises. In 2021, the overall investments of the EBRD in Ukraine may reach 1 bln EUR, if there is demand and an enabling business environment. The EBRD expects the country’s economy to grow by 3% in 2021.

The expert will make a presentation on “Ukrainian economy 2021: raise after hitting the ground? Investment climate and agricultural complex”.
