Largest global agricultural organization to support "KazGrain 2018"

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) will give support to the international conference "KazGrain 2018", to be held in Astana, on March 16.

In particular, the organization will support one of the main sessions of the conference – "Market of grains and by-products in Kazakhstan: relationships with the Central Asian region", which will focus on the medium- and long-term prospects of the market of grains and flour in the reporting region, competition issues between Russia and Kazakhstan on the export grain market, as well as trade development trends of Central Asian countries with grains and by-products.

The list of major session speakers includes: Natalia Merkusheva, Economist at the FAO; Evgeny Gan, Director at the Union of Grain Processors and Bakers of Kazakhstan; Rustam Zhunushov, Chairman of the Committee of Millers of Kyrgyzstan; Dilorom Gafurova, Director of Donmahsulotlari (Uzbekistan); and other leading experts of the grain market.

Rodion Rybchinskiy, Head of Business project unit at APK-Inform Agency, FAO consultant, is the moderator of the reporting session.
