Main volumes of Russian agricultural products shipped in containers (more than 70%) are transshipped through the port of Novorossiysk where Novorossiysk Container Terminal LLC a part of TBI Group is located, declared Senior Manager of Analytical Department with TBI-Service LLC, Yuliya Dymchenko within KAZAKHSTAN GRAIN CONFERENCE 2020: ONLINE EDITION organized by APK-Inform on November 26.
“The rating of importers of Russian agricultural products changed significantly under the influence of different political decisions. Thus, Pakistan and China moved to the leading positions. If we talk about cargoes transported by containers, we see clear upward trend. Peas export in containers increased by 60%, chickpeas by 300%, soybean by 1700%”, - she said.
The expert explained that the sharp growth of shipments was based on higher demand for these products in the world.
Y.Dymchenko informed that all above mention shipment data was took form from an analytical platform Logistic OS that accumulates information about all ports of Azov, Black, Baltic, Caspian seas, Far East and terminals of Volga-Don basin.
