In June 2019, Kazakhstan reduced the exports of sunflower oil to China to 445 tonnes, a decrease of almost 6 times compared with May 2019, and down more than 9 times compared with April 2019, reported the Statistics Committee at the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
At the same time, in the reporting month the shipments of Kazakh sunflower seed to China increased by more than 40%, and totaled more than 18 thsd tonnes, which became the maximum figures for the destination for 5 recent months.
Therefore, for 10 months of 2018/19 MY China was the leader among countries-importers of sunflower oil from Kazakhstan, with the share of 37%, and took the second position after Uzbekistan in the rating of importers of Kazakh sunflower seed (the share of 39%).
Experts and market participants will discuss the recent development tendencies of oilseed products trading between China and Kazakhstan within frames of the forthcoming third international conference "KazOil 2019" (November 5, Nur-Sultan, Rixos President Astana).
