In 2021, Kazakhstan increased organic export 3 times compared to 2020, Qazaqstan Organic Producers Union said on January 25.
“Export of Kazakh organic products amounted to 20.101 mln USD and 13.376 mln EUR in 2021 compared to 1.457 mln USD and 9.226 mln EUR in 2020. There were the first shipments to Ukraine and China. Germany, Sweden, UK, Belgium, Czech Republic and Lithuania remained the key destinations for Kazakh organic products”, – they said.
Kazakhstan exported 29.219 thsd tonnes of organic wheat (5.576 thsd tonnes in 2020), 12.07 (14.727) thsd tonnes of organic flaxseed, 9.61 thsd tonnes (321.4 tonnes) of organic soybean and 328 tonnes of organic millet.
“Additionally, there were some exports of sunflower oil, honey, vodka”, – the Union added.
