The expert will tell about the prospects of Black Sea market of pulses in the context of agro-climatic and economic uncertainty and will analyze the changes among the leading players and their competition on the key markets.
“The focus of selling of Ukrainian peas shifted from India to the EU, particularly Spain and Italy. In 2017/18 MY, Ukraine supplied 43% of peas export to India. In 2019/20 MY, the figure reduced to 13%. At the same time, the share of Italy also totaled nearly 13% and the share of Spain reached 19%. Moreover, Turkey remains one of the most stable buyer of Ukrainian peas with the share fluctuating between 9% and 15%”, - A.Kupchenko explained.
