The largest Indian companies-importers of sunflower oil will take part in the International Sunflower Seed and Oil Conference 2019, to be held on July 19-20, in India (Trident Hotel Nariman Point, Mumbai).
Thus, Adani Wilmar, which in 2018 purchased 350 thsd tonnes of sunflower oil on foreign markets, Kaleesuwari refinery (325 thsd tonnes), Gemini fats and oils (315 tons), Cargill India Ltd (250 thsd tonnes), Lohiya oil and refinery (160 thsd tonnes), M.k.agro Ltd (130 thsd tonnes), KTV Foods Ltd (100 thsd tonnes), Iffco group (100 thsd tonnes), Liberty oil mills Ltd (750 thsd tonnes), Ruchi soy Ind Ltd (125 thsd tonnes), Parakh foods Ltd (750 thsd tonnes) already confirmed their participation in the reporting conference.
We should note that in 2018 India imported 2.75 mln tonnes of sunflower oil. Ukraine (2.5 mln tonnes) and Argentina (0.25 mln tonnes) were the main countries-suppliers of the product.
