In October 2019, APK-Inform analysts increased their estimations of the export potential of the grain market of Ukraine in 2019/20 MY to 50.7 mln tonnes, up 1.3% compared with the season-2018/19.
In particular, the exports of wheat will total 18.6 mln tonnes (up 20.4%), barley — 4.8 mln tonnes (up 35.1%), and corn — 26.7 mln tonnes (down 11.1%), said the Head of the information department at APK-Inform Agency, Andriy Kupchenko.
He added that at the end of 2019/20 MY the carry-over stocks of grain crops in the country will vary at the level of 4.8 mln tonnes (up 12.5%).
