According to Customs Service of Ukraine, the country exported 26.2 mln tonnes of grains in July-November 2021/22 MY, up 21% compared to the same period of 2020/21 MY (21.6 mln tonnes). The monthly records were achieved in three out of five months.
In August 2021, Ukraine exported 5.7 mln tonnes of grains (+7% y/y), in October – 5.1 mln tonnes (+13% y/y) and in November – 6.7 mln tonnes (+44% y/y). Additionally, the volume exported in November is the historical monthly maximum.
Wheat was a core of the Ukrainian grain export. It accounted for 56% of the overall grain export. The share of corn totaled 23%, barley – 18%.
