Representative of the MPOB to tell about the prospects of palm oil trade in Europe and the CIS

Dr. Nagendran Bala Sundram, representative of the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB), Minister Counsellor of the Malaysian Embassy, will be the speaker at the tenth anniversary international conference "Fat-amd-Oil Industry - 2011" on November 23-25, 2011, in Ukraine, Kiev, President Hotel.

The expert will provide the presentation entitled: "World market of palm oil: current situation and prospects".

The presentation will pay special attention to the trade prospects of palm oil as the most universal commodity, applicable in the food industry, and the infrastructure of the Europe and CIS.

As a reminder, the MPOB is the complex multi-level structure, including in its composition over 1200 employees working in offices around the world (with its headquarters in Malaysia). The main objectives of the organization is to develop the palm branch, promotion of Malaysian palm and palm oils, participation in shaping and implementation of the public policy development branch. The key features of the MPOB: scientific-research projects to study the properties of palm and palm kernel oils, searching for new spheres of usage, quality control of palm oil production, certification and qualification of the industry, etc.
