On November 24, 2011, in Kiev two specialized seminars started its work within frames of the Anniversary 10th international conference "Fat-and-Oil Industry – 2011".
In particular, the company INTL FCStone held the seminar “Risk management for agribusiness". The seminar program provided the detailed overview of the risks, presentation of possible risk management programs for agricultural enterprises of the Black Sea countries.
The key speaker and moderator of the seminar - Matt Ammermann, commodity risk management consultant in the Eastern Europe, INTL/FCStone.
We should note that the interest of participants in the seminar exceeded all expectations of the organizers. Nearly 100 delegates became interested in the topic of risk management.
Besides, under support of the association "Ukroliyaprom", the State Scientific Institution the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Fats of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences (St. Petersburg) and AOCS (the American Oil Chemists’ Society) the specialized seminar "New technological decisions in the fat-and-oil industry” was carried out.
Within frames of the seminar experts presented own reports on various technological aspects of oil production, and equipment for the fat-and-oil industry.
As a reminder, the official opening of the conference "Fat-and-Oil Industry – 2011" takes place in Kiev on November 25.
