According to official statistics, export of flour and groats products from Uzbekistan amounted to 143.4 mln USD in January-June 2022, up by 9% compared to the same period of the previous year (131.2 mln USD). The largest surplus was observed in February-April 2022. The revenue from export of flour and groats products increased by 40% compared to February-April 2021.
“In 2021, Uzbekistan gained a record high revenues from export of flour and groats products that amounted to 283.2 mln USD, up 29% y/y. These products account for a large share in the overall food export from Uzbekistan. In January-June 2022, this share totaled 19%, down from 21% in the same period of 2021. In March, this share reached 29%”, – analytics of APK-Inform said.
