On June 20, the 2nd American-Ukrainian Agrarian Congress in Washington, DC started with a welcoming & reception in honor of the participants. Organizers of the Congress: APK-Inform Agency and Ukrainian Grain Association.
Organizers and honorary guests of the event welcomed more than 80 delegates representing 60 companies and organizations of the agricultural sector, including the Ambassador of Ukraine to the USA Valeriy Chaly, the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Nadiia Kaznacheieva, the Agribusiness Program Manager at ІFC/World Bank Group Heinz Strubenhoff, the President of Ukrainian Grain Association Volodymyr Klymenko, etc.
The major session part of the Congress takes place on June 21. Major topics of the Congress: roles and positions for the USA and Ukraine on the global agricultural market, prospects for investment in the agricultural sector of Ukraine, development of the agricultural logistics in Ukraine, prospects of the biofuel market in the USA and Ukraine, etc.
