In order to minimize the negative economic consequences of the outbreak of COVID-19 coronavirus infection and prevent the deficit of the socially significant goods in the EAEU countries, on April 3 the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission approved the list of critical import goods, which will receive the tariff preferences in form of exemption from the import customs duties, in terms of the imports to the member-states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in the period from April 1 to June 30, 2020, inclusive, declared the press-service of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).

In particular, the list of the goods includes certain agricultural and food products: rye, long grain rice and buckwheat groats, as well as certain health commodities.

Also, the EEC Board decided to temporarily simplify the arrangements for the use of the certificate of origin of the form A, issued by developing and least developed countries. It will allow using a paper or electronic copy of the certificates for 6 months, without provision of their originals during the customs declaring procedure.
