In order to minimize the negative economic consequences of the outbreak of COVID-19 coronavirus infection, and prevent the deficit of the socially significant goods in the EAEU countries, on April 18 the decision of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) on the tariff preferences for some critical import goods in form of exemption from the import customs duties, in terms of the deliveries to the member-states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), in the period from April 1 to June 30, 2020, inclusive, came into force.

As a reminder, the list of the reporting products includes the certain agricultural and food products: rye, long grain rice, buckwheat groats, etc.
