Russia can implement quotas for grain export in the second half of 2020/21 MY, declared the Minister of Agriculture, Dmitry Patrushev.

“Non-tariff quotas for grain continues to be relevant. The Ministry of Agriculture plans to implement this measure this season and further. Particularly, we are going to set the quotas from January 1 to June 30, 2021”, - the Minister said.

The quotas for export of Russian grain was in force from April 1 to June 30, 2020. Its general volume totaled 7 mln tonnes and covered wheat, barley, rye and corn without separation in commodities. The quotas did not cover supplies to the EAEU as well as seed export.
