As of September 20, efficient soil moisture content was sufficient and optimal (21-45 mm) under winter crops across most of Ukraine, Ukrhydrometcenter informed.
Over-wetting of top-soil was observed across many western regions, some parts of Sumy, Chernihiv, Kyiv and Cherkasy oblasts.
Some parts of Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa and Kherson oblasts faced fair (11-20 mm) moisture provision, and partially unfair (less than 10 mm).
