There are no reasons for restriction of agricultural export from Ukraine, declared the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, Roman Leschenko on March 18.

“Our aim is to strengthen our presence on the global markets of grains and oilseeds”, - he emphasized.

R.Leschenko added that the Black Sea region is becoming more and more powerful supplier of grain due to low production costs.

“We do not plan to mirror protectionist policy of Russia who implemented grain export quotas. Ukraine plays an important role in global food supply chain, we have a potential to become food supplier for the entire world. To play with protectionism is he last we have to do”, - the Minister said.
