Terminal of grain trading corporation Viterra was damaged in the result of a rocket attack of Mykolaiv, local administration informed via its Telegram.

Viterra export capacity of vegetable oil is 1.5 mln tonnes per year. Total storing capacity is 150 thsd tonnes. Transshipment capacity of soybean, sunflower seed and wheat is about 3 mln tonnes.

“Usually, Mykolaiv accounts for about one-fourth of grain export from Ukraine. Damages here can complicate the restoring of sea trade”, – the local administration said.

Moreover, Russia stroke one more large grain terminal in Mykolaiv owned by Bunge.

A representative of US trader Bunge said that there were no casualties at the plant, and the company's facilities had not been operating since the start of the war.

“It is the second shelling of Bunge capacities in Ukraine”, – the administration’s message said.
