The international Asia Grains & Oils Conference in Qazaqstan-2022 was held in Astana on November 10-11. The event was organized by APK-Inform Asia in partnership with Expo Time (Kazakhstan) and Inter Standart Consult (Uzbekistan).
The venue of the conference was hospitable and cozy Radisson Hotel Astana.
The number of delegated exceeded the wildest expectations of the organizers – 250 participants from 16 countries.
The agenda of Asia Grains & Oils Conference in Qazaqstan-2022 was so intense and the guests were so active on the sidelines that the timing of the event was exceeded both on the first and second days.
The format of the event meant not just reports, but a lively discussion between market participants – logistic companies, exporters, processors, lawyers and representatives of government agencies. And we have to say that the plan was realized!
For 2 days, 30 speakers took the stage at the conference, including top managers of the largest processing enterprises and associations, export enterprises, transport and logistic companies, investors, leading economists and analysts. In a word, those people who drive the grain and oilseed market of Central Asia and make decisions that affect the development of business.
Thematic blocks were on the cutting edge of the current situation: macroeconomics and its impact on the agro-industrial market, the development of the market for traditional and deep grain processing, logistics of the agricultural market. And, of course, the signature APK-Inform's block on grain and oilseed markets – regional and global trends, estimates and forecasts for Central Asia, the Black Sea region and the world.
The participants of the conference received a lot of new information from the speeches by the Uzbek guests – processors and representatives of the exchange market.
Many presentations caused the heated discussions. Kazakh exporters had a “bright” conversation with the wagon market operator Astyk Trans, which was not surprising given the current realities. However, this is why such events are valuable, because both sides heard each other, found answers to their questions, received first-hand information for decision-making.
A pleasant bonus for the participants of the conference was its informal part with the gala dinner and presents.
