The stated material presents the May estimations and forecasts of the supply and demand balances of the major grains (wheat, maize and barley) in Ukraine in the season of 2011/12, and also the forecast balances for 2012/13 MY, prepared by analysts of APK-Inform Agency. The current update of grain balances is characterized by some changes by the major articles of grain distribution resulting from specification of the statistical data and improvement of the methods of calculation.
