According to regional divisions of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor), since the beginning of the season-2019/20 (July 1), and as of September 10, Russia already exported 9.4 mln tonnes of wheat (including movements to the territory of the Customs Union countries), down 9% compared with the same period last season, reported the Federal State-Funded Institution "Federal Centre of Quality and Safety Assurance for Grain and Grain products".

Also, in the reporting period Russia exported 1.1 mln tonnes of barley (down 14% compared with the same period in 2018/19 MY), 304 thsd tonnes of corn (down 23%), 141 thsd tonnes of peas (down 22%), 57 thsd tonnes of chickpeas (up 3 times), and 99 thsd tonnes of wheat bran (down 21%).

In addition, Russia demonstrated the high shipment rates of oilseeds and its by-products. Thus, since the beginning of the season the exports of soybeans increased in 4 times — to 173 thsd tonnes, sunflower meal — up 2 times, to 149 thsd tonnes, and soybean meal — up 24%, to 52 thsd tonnes. At the same time, the exports of rapeseed decreased by 21% compared with the last year level — to 63 thsd tonnes.

Generally, in the reporting period Russia supplied 12 mln tonnes of grains, oilseeds and its by-products on foreign markets, down 8% (or 980 thsd tonnes) compared with the same period last season.

Russia shipped the reporting goods to 114 countries, as opposed to 120 countries as of September 10, 2018.
