As of October 18, Ukrainian farmers planted winter grains throughout 5.7 mln ha or 72% of the plan, informs press-service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food. Sumy and Poltava oblasts have already completed the winter planting campaign.
“Particularly, agrarians planted wheat throughout 5 mln ha (75%), barley - 511 thsd ha (50%), rye - 139 thsd ha (86%)”, - the message says.
Besides, agrarians planted winter rapeseed throughout 1 mln ha or 98% of the forecast. 18 oblasts of Ukraine completed rapeseed planting.
