As of August 10, in Ukraine grains and pulses were harvested from 5.293 mln ha (40% of the plan), with production at 23.13 mln tonnes and the yield at 4.37 t/ha, reported the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
In particular, Ukraine harvested as follows:
- wheat – through 3.83 mln ha (82%), with production at 17.7 mln tonnes and yield at 4.62 t/ha ;
- barley – through 1.263 mln ha (85%), production – 4.9 mln tonnes, yield – 3.88 t/ha;
- peas – through 146.63 thsd ha (98%), production – 361,24 thsd tonnes, yield – 2.46 t/ha.
Also, it is reported that Kherson and Dnipropetrovsk regions started harvesting millet – fieldwork was conducted through 0.29 thsd ha, with production volume at 0.2 thsd tonnes and yield at 0.69 t/ha. Buckwheat was collected in Dnipropetrovks regions from 80 ha (5%), with a production volume at 90 tonnes and yield – 1.13 t/ha.
Rapeseed in Ukraine was harvested from 1.315 mln ha (92% complete), and production volumes reached 3.702 mln tonnes with the average yield at 2.81 t/ha.
