As of July 9, 2012, Russia produced 8.3 mln tonnes of grains with the average yield of 25.9 c/ha. As of the reporting date, agrarians of the country harvested grains throughout the areas of 3.2 mln ha, or 7.1% of the plan, reported the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

In particular, as of July 9 agrarians harvested wheat throughout 2.8 mln ha, and produced 7.4 mln tonnes of the grain, with the average yield of 26.1 c/ha.

Agrarians harvested barley throughout the areas of 161 thsd ha, and produced 521 thsd tonnes of the grain, with the yield of 32.4 c/ha.

Agrarians harvested winter rapeseed throughout 17.1 thsd ha, the produced volumes totaled 20.9 thsd tonnes with the average yield of 12.3 c/ha.

To date, regions of the Southern, North Caucasian, Central and Volga Federal Districts provide the harvesting campaign of grains and leguminous crops.
