Agrarians of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea started planting spring crops, especially barley, announced Nikolai Prysyazhnyuk, Acting Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, on February 24.
According to him, the Crimea already planted the grain throughout 22 thsd ha. Generally, Ukraine plans to plant spring crops throughout the areas of 19.2 mln ha.
N.Prysyazhnyuk also noted that in 19 oblasts of Ukraine agrarians started additional fertilizing of winter crop areas.
