According to operative data as of August 15, Ukraine harvested 34.719 mln tonnes of early grains and pulses throughout the areas of 9.523 mln ha, or 98% of the planned areas without the Crimea. The average yield totaled 3.65 t/ha, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

As a reminder, on August 15, 2013, agrarians harvested 31.874 mln tonnes of grains throughout 10.045 mln ha, with the average yield of 3.17 t/ha.

In particular, Ukrainian agrarians harvested winter wheat throughout 5.975 mln ha (98%). The produced volumes totaled 24.063 mln tonnes with the yield of 4.03 t/ha.

Agrarians harvested winter barley throughout 2.992 mln ha (98%). The produced volumes reached 9.269 mln tonnes with the yield of 3.1 t/ha.

Ukraine harvested rye throughout 176 thsd ha (94%), the produced volumes reached 447 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 2.54 t/ha.

Also, Ukraine harvested 556 thsd tonnes of oats throughout 222 thsd ha (90%), with the average yield of 2.51 t/ha.

Agrarians produced 370 thsd tonnes of peas, with the yield of 2.43 t/ha. The harvested areas reached 152 thsd ha (99%).

In addition, agrarians harvested 42 thsd tonnes of buckwheat (21%) throughout 29 thsd ha, with the average yield of 1.44 t/ha.

Ukraine harvested 79 thsd tonnes of millet throughout 40 thsd ha (39%). The average yield totaled 1.98 t/ha.

Ukrainian agrarians harvested 36 thsd tonnes of sunflower seed throughout 42 thsd ha (1%), with the average yield of 0.86 t/ha.
