According to operative data as of September 2, Belarus started planting winter crops for the harvest-2015, declared the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus. So, agrarians planted crops throughout 30.7 thsd ha, or 2.5% of the plan. Generally, the country plans to plant winter grains throughout the areas of 1.228 mln ha. Also, agrarians planted winter rapeseed throughout 380.2 thsd ha (91.6%).
Belarusian agrarians continued grain harvesting campaign. The country harvested buckwheat throughout 5.74 thsd ha (30%), and produced 8.1 thsd tonnes with the average yield of 1.41 t/ha. Agrarians harvested 4.15 thsd tonnes of millet throughout 2.17 thsd ha (34%), with the yield of 1.91 t/ha. Belarus harvested rapeseed throughout 380.9 thsd ha (95.4%), the production totaled 848.8 thsd tonnes with the average yield of 2.23 t/ha.
