As of September 14, Russian agrarians harvested grains and pulses throughout the general areas of 34.3 mln ha (in 2016 - 38.2 mln ha), or 71.5% of the forecast. The production volumes of grains totaled 109 mln tonnes, with the average yield at 3.18 t/ha (in 2016 - 102.8 mln tonnes, and 2.69 t/ha), declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
In particular, agrarians harvested winter and spring wheat throughout 21.6 mln ha (77.3%), and produced 75.7 mln tonnes of the grain, with the average yield of 3.51 t/ha.
Russia harvested 19.3 mln tonnes of winter and spring barley throughout 6.8 mln ha (84%). The average yield totaled 2.85 t/ha.
Agricultural producers started harvesting corn for grain, and already produced 1.4 mln tonnes. The harvested areas reached 282.4 thsd ha (9.1%), with the yield at 4.87 t/ha.
Also, agrarians started harvesting rice: the production reached 54.1 thsd tonnes, the harvested areas - 8.6 thsd ha (4.6%), and the average yield totaled 6.29 t/ha.
Agrarians continued harvesting sunflower seed, and already produced 1 mln tonnes of the oilseed. The harvested areas reached 458.6 thsd ha (5.8%), with the yield at 2.21 t/ha.
Russia harvested rapeseed throughout 431.7 thsd ha (42.2%), and produced 833.5 thsd tonnes of the oilseed. The average yield totaled 1.93 t/ha.
Russia started harvesting soybeans, and already produced 403.7 thsd tonnes of the oilseed. The harvested areas reached 225.6 thsd ha (8.7%), with the yield at 1.79 t/ha.
Russian agrarians continued pulling flaxseed. The areas reached 25.2 thsd ha (55.1%).
Also, Russia planted winter crops throughout 7.3 mln ha, or 41.7% of the planned areas (in 2016 - 8.3 mln ha).
