As of October 2, Russian agrarians harvested grains and pulses throughout the general areas of 41.8 mln ha (in 2016 - 42.9 mln ha), or 88.8% of the forecast. The production volumes of grains totaled 125.6 mln tonnes, with the average yield at 3 t/ha (in 2016 - 111.7 mln tonnes, and 2.6 t/ha), declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
In particular, agrarians harvested winter and spring wheat throughout 25.9 mln ha (93.7%), and produced 84.7 mln tonnes of the grain, with the average yield of 3.27 t/ha.
Russia harvested 20.9 mln tonnes of winter and spring barley throughout 7.5 mln ha (94.2%). The average yield totaled 2.8 t/ha.
Agricultural producers continued harvesting corn for grain, and already produced 4.6 mln tonnes. The harvested areas reached 949.9 thsd ha (32.6%), with the yield at 4.8 t/ha.
Also, agrarians continued harvesting rice: the production volumes reached 547.5 thsd tonnes, the harvested areas - 87.7 thsd ha (47.1%), and the average yield totaled 6.24 t/ha.
Agrarians continued harvesting sunflower seed, and already produced 4 mln tonnes of the oilseed. The harvested areas reached 2.1 mln ha (27%), with the yield at 1.91 t/ha.
Russia harvested rapeseed throughout 739.6 thsd ha (75%), and produced 1.3 mln tonnes of the oilseed. The average yield totaled 1.78 t/ha.
Russia already produced 1.4 mln tonnes of soybeans. The harvested areas reached 832.8 thsd ha (32.4%), with the yield at 1.68 t/ha.
Also, Russia planted winter crops throughout 12.6 mln ha, or 72.4% of the planned areas (in 2016 - 11.7 mln ha).
