In future years, the Republic of Crimea plans to increase the annual production of grain crops to 3 mln tonnes, declared the Head of the region, Sergey Aksyonov on November 8.
According to him, the region plans to reach the production level of 1989. At the same time, last year the harvest volumes totaled 1.5 mln tonnes only. While in 1989, the harvest in the Crimea totaled 3 mln tonnes, up almost 2 times.
