As of November 16, Ukraine harvested 11.781 mln tonnes of sunflower seed throughout the areas of 5.872 mln ha (99%), with the average yield at 2.01 t/ha, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
The production volumes of soybeans reached 3.566 mln tonnes, the yield - 1.92 t/ha, and the harvested areas - 1.859 mln ha (93%).
In addition, agrarians harvested buckwheat throughout 179 thsd ha (99%), and produced 195 thsd tonnes of the grain. The average yield totaled 1.09 t/ha. As of the reporting date, agrarians harvested 82 thsd tonnes of millet throughout 55 thsd ha (98%), with the yield at 1.47 t/ha.
Agricultural producers continued harvesting corn for grain, and already produced 18.242 mln tonnes. The harvested areas reached 3.525 mln ha (78%), with the yield at 5.18 t/ha.
Also, Ukrainian agrarians planted winter grains for the harvest-2018 throughout 6.896 mln ha (95% of the plan). In particular, the planted areas under winter wheat totaled 5.93 mln ha (96%), winter barley - 819 thsd ha (89%), and rye - 147 thsd ha (93%). Agrarians already planted winter rapeseed throughout 861 thsd ha (112%).
