As of November 21, 19 regions of Russia exceeded the planned figures for the planted areas under winter crops, declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

In particular, in the Central Federal District Smolensk oblast increased the plan in winter crops planted areas by 19.2% (52.7 thsd ha, while the plan totaled 44.2 thsd ha), Belgorod oblast - up 11.3% (415.7 thsd ha, while the plan totaled 373.6 thsd ha), Yaroslavl oblast - up 7.4% (7.8 thsd ha, 7.3 thsd ha) Bryansk oblast - up 5.5% (200.4 thsd ha, 190 thsd ha), Kursk oblast - up 2.2% (500.1 thsd ha, 489.5 thsd ha), and Voronezh oblast - up 1.3% (719.9 thsd ha, 710 thsd ha).

In the Southern District, almost all regions increased their figures: in Rostov oblast - up 8.4% (2.493 mln ha, 2.3 mln ha), the Republic of Kalmykia - up 7.2% (186.6 thsd ha, 174 thsd ha), the Republic of Adygea - up 3.5% (101.5 thsd ha, 98.1 thsd ha), Krasnodar Krai - up 3.2% (1.591 mln ha, 1.541 mln ha), and Volgograd oblast - up 0.7% (1.432 mln ha, 1.422 mln ha).

In the North Caucasian District, the Chechen Republic exceeded the planned figures by 18.3% (123.9 thsd ha, 104.7 thsd ha), and the Republic of Ingushetia - up 5% (25.2 thsd ha, 24 thsd ha).

In the Volga District, the Republic of Bashkortostan increased the planted areas by 1.4% (457 thsd ha, 450.9 thsd ha), and the Chuvash Republic – up 0.3% (80.2 thsd ha, 80 thsd ha).

In the Ural District, Kurgan oblast increased the planted areas by 23.5% (28.4 thsd ha, 23 thsd ha), Chelyabinsk oblast - up 10.7% (22.8 thsd ha, 20.6 thsd ha), and Tyumen oblast - up 4.8% (11 thsd ha, 10.5 thsd ha).

In addition, Primorsky Krai of the Far Eastern District planted winter crops throughout 0.4 thsd ha, up 2 times compared with the plan (0.2 thsd ha).
