As of January 25, 86.4% of winter grain areas in Ukraine were in good and satisfactory condition (6.249 mln ha), and 13.6% – in poor and thinned condition (987.3 thsd ha), informed the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Also, winter rapeseed were in good and satisfactory condition throughout 88.6% of the planted areas (880.2 thsd ha), weak and thinned condition – 11.1% (110.4 thsd ha), as well as losses – 0.1% (2 thsd ha).
As a reminder, sprouts of winter grain crops in Ukraine appeared throughout 7.236 mln ha, or 99.6% of the general planted areas of 7.265 mln ha. In addition, the sprouts of winter rapeseed appeared throughout 991.7 thsd ha from the general planted areas of 1.1 mln ha.
