Agrarians of Turkmenistan started the harvesting campaign of winter crops, reported the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources of Turkmenistan on June 7.
The country plans to harvest 1.6 mln tonnes of grains throughout the planted areas under winter grain crops at 760 thsd ha. Agrarians mainly planted the following high-yielding varieties of wheat: Sakhrai, Juvan, Bitarap, Yoloten-1, Yoloten-3, Turkmenbashi-1, Gyzylshaglavuk-25, Miras, Akbash, Irishka, Yubileynaya-100, Batko and Krupinka.
