As of June 14, Kazakh agrarians planted spring spiked grain crops throughout 14.232 mln ha, or 100.7% of the planned areas, reported the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Agrarians completed the planting campaign of spring grains in all oblasts of the country except for East Kazakhstan oblast (554 thsd ha, or 94%) and Pavlodar oblast (752 thsd ha, or 98.8%). Also, Kazakhstan completed the planting campaign of rice — 101.2 thsd ha, or 105.6%.
In addition, agrarians planted corn for grain throughout 145 thsd ha (93.8%), and sugar beet — 19.6 thsd ha (91.5%).
Also, agrarians continued planting oilseed crops. As of June 14, the planted areas under oilseed already reached 2.769 mln ha (102.2%). In particular, Aktobe oblast planted oilseed crops throughout 50 thsd ha (114%), Almaty oblast — 169 thsd ha, East Kazakhstan oblast — 433 thsd ha (104.9%), Kostanay oblast — 369 thsd ha (107%), Akmola oblast — 258 thsd ha, North Kazakhstan oblast — 1 mln ha, and South Kazakhstan oblast — 109 thsd ha (126.4%).
